Just after one fashion week ends, another one begins. Though LA Fashion Week remains a sore subject for some, there are plenty of fashion folks (including us) who are big backers of any stage—no matter how big or small—spotlighting our city’s up-and-coming talents. Among the tireless advocates for emerging designers is the LA Fashion Council, who just unveiled the lineup to their Spring 2014 runway collections, set to take place at The Park at The Grove next Wednesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 10th.

In addition to seasoned regulars like celeb-loved designer Katharine Kidd to avant-garde label Bohemian Society to spacey hippie line Odylyne, the showcase—which scored major backing from co-presenting sponsor Citibank—will also feature a few fresh faces found during LAFC’s Open Runway series. Show crashers need not be worried: thanks to the megamall-turned-fashion-venue’s al fresco setting, passersby can still scan the scene from outside of the official goings-ons. Plus, the cosmetics pros at MAC will be hosting makeovers in store and at the park for all guests.

Here’s LAFC’s full schedule of shows to kick off LA Fashion Week:

Wednesday, October 9th:
12:30pm: Stella Proseyn
1:30pm: Linden
2:30pm: ISM Mode
3:30pm: Odylyne

Thursday, October 10th:
1:30pm: Amabelle Aguiluz (Open Runway Runner Up)
3:30pm: The Bohemian Society
4:30pm: Katharine Kidd

In addition, the two-day affair will be capped off with an after-party at Topshop.
