Beginning tonight and running for four consecutive Wednesdays through July 31, LA’s beloved shopping and dining destination, The Grove, kicks off its annual summer concert series. From 7:30-9:30 p.m. on July 10, 17, 24, and 31, acclaimed recording artists in the jazz, country, rock, and pop arenas will take the stage for free live performances. The Line-up:
July 10: Tonight’s performance features Grammy award-winning jazz musician Steve Tyrell, who will perform songs from his tenth album, It’s Magic: The Songs of Sammy Cahn. Sasha Allen and Amber Carrington from NBC’s hit show The Voice comprise the opening act.
July 17: Platinum-selling country star Sara Evans will perform a mix of favorites and new songs from her sixth record, Stronger. In keeping with the country theme, multi-platinum duo Love and Theft will start the show.
July 24: LA electronic-pop artists Capital Cities will perform songs from their smash indie debut album, In A Tidal Wave of Mystery, with Vancouver group Said The Whale kicking things off.
July 31: All five original Backstreet Boys will take the stage to introduce their upcoming album In A World Like This, which they’ll launch with a world tour beginning August 2.
