From Black Friday Nov. 28 through Wednesday, Dec. 24, consumers will be able to book complimentary Uber Black rides to either shopping center, courtesy of real estate developer and owner Caruso Affiliated. Providing a valuable service to consumers during what can be a stressful time of the year will likely create a lasting impression.

The Americana at Brand and The Grove both feature a number of luxury stores, including Tiffany & Co., Barneys New York, David Yurman, Nordstrom, Swarovski and Michael Kors.

In a brand statement, Rick J. Caruso, founder and chief executive officer of Caruso Affiliated, said, “Our partnership with Uber is a first of its kind for our industry. We are stepping out of our traditional parking model, and instead, bringing guests to our property in a seamless style that gives them back the gift of time.

“I want to create an elevated and more convenient experience for our guests, letting them know I care about them.”

Other retailers have partnered with Uber to provide a branded service.

For instance, men’s online retailer Mr Porter, with mobile car service application Uber, created an easy way for Paris Fashion Week guests to travel around the city.

The five day alliance offered Paris Fashion Week attendees free personal chauffeur service in central Paris. The union of Mr Porter and Uber offered guests the ability to experience both brands in one occasion, likely leading to a positive combination of each brand’s consumers

Consumers that spend at least $450 will be upgraded to a free round trip. Shoppers can use the service as often as they like during the holiday season.
