After four glorious months of stylish eye candy, Diane Von Furstenberg is sadly packing up her crowd-pleasing (50,000 visitors to-date!) Journey of a Dress exhibit at LA´s historic Wilshire May Company Building. The official end date is Thursday, May 1, which means that this is the very last weekend to visit the iconic wrap´s 40th anniversary retrospective and marvel over portraits produced by some of DVF´s famous pals, including Andy Warhol, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, and Mario Testino.
Lucky for us, this isn´t the last of the legendary designer´s local presence. WWD reports that DVF is set to open two new LA stores by late fall: one at The Grove and one at Americana at Brand. In addition to obligatory wrap dresses, the debut shops will host ready-to-wear, accessories, handbags and footwear.
