Cintas has released the names and locations of the top 10 public potties for its 13th annual America´s Best Restroom contest and the excitement over who will be named winner is palpable.

“We’ve assembled an engaging field of unique public restrooms and expect a lot of spirited competition,” said John Engel, Cintas senior marketing manager in a news release.

The California contenders are Plums Café located in Costa Mesa and the Grove in Los Angeles, an outdoor shopping mall. The Grove´s marble bathrooms include child-friendly toilets and washbasin, a little kitchen with microwave, a shoe shine area, and on top of that, six original drawings by Picasso and Miro.

They´re going to have to compete with the likes of whimsical decor featured at the American Girl Place in Chicago and the environmentally sustainable Trail Restroom in Austin, Texas.

The public can vote through Oct. 31 at www.bestrestroom.com.

The top three vote getters will receive a complimentary deep clean of the restroom and the winner receives a $2,500 credit to spend on Cintas services.
