We all know and love Seth MacFarlane for creating Family Guy and voicing some of the most memorable animated characters in TVand film, but did you know he also has a #1 jazz album?
No One Ever Tells You dropped October 30 to rave reviews. And this isn´t his first foray into the music scene. Last year, MacFarlane released a holiday album and his 2011 debut record, Music Is Better Than Words, was nominated for two GRAMMYs.
“We put as much care into this, and as much passion into this, as we do into Family Guy and the movies,” he told Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio earlier this morning (Nov. 11). “This is not just screwing around. We´re working very hard on this as if it were our day jobs.”
This Saturday, he´ll be hosting The Grove Christmas, which is free to attend. MacFarlane described it as an “elaborate” affair. He´ll be singing holiday songs with a 70-piece orchestra and 15-person choir. Meghan Trainor and Katharine McPhee will also be joining in on the festivities.
