So Cal-cuisine chain Lemonade will open at the Americana at Brand next week and start serving up a slew of seasonal salads and sandwiches.

It will be the 18th location of the cafeteria-style restaurant, which opened its first location in 2008 and quickly began popping up new locations around the Los Angeles area.

Lemonade is moving into the former site of the Melt restaurant and will offer guests what it calls “California comfort food.”

“Everything is made in California, whether it´s our ingredients or even our disposables,” said JoAnn Cianciulli, marketing director for the chain.

The menu changes pretty often. There are eight seasonal lineups that Lemonade offers throughout the year, and the new restaurant will start off with an “early fall” menu of salads, hot and cold sandwiches and meat dishes.

The Americana location will also be the first to have its own menu for children, who can eat for free on Tuesdays with the purchase of a regular meal, Cianciulli said.

The kids´ meal is made up of items such as chicken strips, mac n´ cheese and a lemonade.

The retail center´s management said Lemonade will bring a blend of two styles of eateries to the Americana.

“Lemonade provides a casual, chic and comfortable dining environment,” said Julie Jauregui, senior general manager of the Americana.

Lemonade will open on Thursday.
