Now that The Grove is officially ready for the holidays, we have more details on the stylish shopping center´s answer to New York´s Rockefeller Center festivities. Family Guy writer/creator-turned-crooner Seth MacFarlane is set to host the Citi- and BMW-sponsored Christmas tree lighting ceremony next month, and it´ll be just as starry as past spectaculars.
Happening Saturday, November 14th from 7 to 9pm, “The Grove Christmas with Seth MacFarlane” promises performances by its humorous host (backed by a 55-piece orchestra, no less), Grammy-nominated booty backer/singer Meghan Trainor, and more soon-to-be-announced talents. In addition to illuminating that 100-foot fir tree´s 15,000 lights, the swanky show will include the Top Hat dancers, a show-stopping fireworks finale, and an appearance from the man of the season himself.
Already marked your cal? We suggest early arrival-superfans have rolled up as early as 4:30pm-to nab a good spot, dress for sweater weather, bring ear plugs and snacks/aqua, and Uber or Lyft it to your destination (parking will be insane).
