Under Armour opens first California retail store

Performance-wear label Under Armour has opened its first West Coast “brand house,” the Baltimore-based company´s name for its retail stores, at the Americana at Brand shopping center in Glendale. The 10,000-square-foot space, which opened its doors on March 2 next to the Free People store, carries the label´s full range of men´s, women´s and children´s apparel and accessories as well as a dedicated wearables area to showcase devices that work with its Connected Fitness platform. Kendra Scott takes a SoCal road trip

The Austin, Texas-based Kendra Scott jewelry and accessories brand is taking a custom Airstream trailer on the road for a swing through Southern California with local stops planned for the Weddington Way pop-up shop at 314 N. Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 17 (think of it as a pop-in to a pop-up) and at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles from noon to 6 p.m. March 18. The 2016 Jewelry Tour will include the option to customize earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings as well as shop the latest collection with a portion of tour proceeds to benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America/CFDA Foundation´s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign.
