It´s no secret that fashion blogstars regularly score
gratis goods (and often get paid to wear them), you don´t have to be a big-name
´grammer to score free stuff at Obsessee´s first IRL pop-up. The social
media-only brand´s game-changing concept store invades The Grove starting
today, and — get this — it won´t accept even a penny from shoppers.

Helmed by Clique Media Group (which also owns Who What
Wear, MyDomaine, and Byrdie), the cashless shop works like this: social
media-savvy visitors simply use their own digital content as currency to
“buy” everything from Fujifilm Instax cameras to Ban.do pool floaties
and TagPop vintage tees to Keds sneakers.

Bigger ticket items (like shoes and cameras) will cost one
Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook post, while smaller products (like haircare
from dpHue and Amika, Rosebud Salve lip gloss, and enamel pins) might be priced
anywhere from three Snapchat posts to an Insta. Once you´re ready to check out,
an Obsessee shopgirl will make sure your posts are properly tagged.
