BOURBON STEAK – “CHEERS TO LUCK & FORTUNE”

Located at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Michael Mina’s modern steakhouse is serving a special “Cheers to Luck & Fortune” menu with global dishes and ingredients that represent good luck and prosperity for the New Year. The four-course menu starts with good luck dishes like chilled soba noodles (Japanese buckwheat noodles represent long life), 12 Grapes at Midnight (a Spanish tradition), or seared scallops & “coins” (circular foods bring wealth). Main course options include the decadent 14oz New York “Ball Drop” (tribute to Times Square), 8oz filet mignon with barley risotto and maitake mushroom (grains represent abundance), and ora king salmon (schools of fish symbolize togetherness and friendship). Dessert is a choice of New York City Cheesecake or Gold Chocolate Cake. The table will also share broccoli & fines herbes and black truffle ditalini & cheese. Pricing is $95 per person, with optional wine pairings available for an additional $45.
