There’s no denying the changing face of the fashion industry. More and more designers are breaking out of the traditional fashion week circuit to present (and deliver) their new collections in innovative ways. Rebecca Minkoff has been one of the designers at the helm of this movement, navigating the industry’s shift with a forward-thinking attitude in tune with present-day desires.

At New York Fashion Week last season, Minkoff experimented with the industry’s see-now, buy-now trend, forgoing showing S/S 17 pieces and instead presenting a lineup of her instantly shoppable fall collection. Furthermore, she shunned the standard all-model casting in favor of some fresh faces, sending our favorite fashion bloggers down the runway.

This season, Minkoff has continued her experimental approach abundant in millennial-minded appeal, even ditching the New York show schedule to debut her collection at the Grove in L.A. Yesterday models and fashion tastemakers from Aimee Song to Victoria Justice walked the runway in the Rebecca Minkoff spring 2017 collection that was shoppable immediately after the show online and at a pop-up shop at the event.
