Burger, fried chicken, and tons of comfort food

Looks like there’s yet another new restaurant tenant for the big upcoming Pacific Palisades development project, slated to open later this year. It’s called Hank’s, and it features lots and lots of burgers.

Hank’s is the work of Bruce and Eric Bromberg, the duo behind the massively successful chain Blue Ribbon. That restaurant has nearly two dozen locations worldwide and celebrated 25 years in business last year. Now the brothers are focusing on switching things up with a more fast casual model, offering a family-friendly, largely customizable menu experience that highlights burgers, shakes, salads, breakfast items, and drinks for the adults at dinnertime. Hank’s will also offer some deli classics like matzo ball soup, plus that famous Blue Ribbon fried chicken, reports Food & Wine.

The Pacific Palisades development project is coming along nicely. The multi-acre conversion is the work of the Caruso team, the same folks behind The Grove and The Americana, and has already attracted a number of big names like award-winning Seattle restaurateur Renee Erickson. The culinary lineup still has a lot of additions between now and the official opening in September, including a possible second new restaurant by the Brombergs.
