California-style home decor shop Serena & Lily will open a second Los Angeles location in Caruso’s Palisades Village.

“As you can imagine, Palisades is the perfect community for our brand,” Jennifer Crowley, director of PR and brand marketing for Serena & Lily, told the Palisadian-Post. “There are so many beautiful homes and talented interior designers here, as well as many families who enjoy the summers on the coast.

“We look forward to being part of their decorating projects in a much more engaged way through the experience in our Design Shop.”

Serena & Lily was founded by Serena Dugan and Lily Kanter in 2003. It was designed to be casual and coastal, blending classical influences with modern lines, eclectic inspiration with great American style, according to the brand’s website.

Crowley explained that each one of Serena & Lily’s Design Shops are crafted to reflect the “individual spirit of each location,” so each store has a “unique flavor while offering customers the opportunity to experience products in a variety of settings.”

Serena & Lily offers a complete line of home decor items, including items for bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining rooms, and outdoor spaces. Also available are rugs, pillows, wallpaper and lighting.

The store was drawn to Palisades Village because it’s designed like a California beach cottage. The interior of the store will be set up like a home, complete with a patio to highlight Serena & Lily’s outdoor collection, a kitchenette, living room with fireplace, two bedrooms and a bunk room.

“The walls will display a rotating gallery of one-of-a-kind works from an ever-evolving art collection,” Crowley explained.

At the store will be “knowledgeable design advisors,” who will be on hand to offer insight into Serena & Lily’s collection.

In addition to its Melrose Avenue store, Sausalito-based Serena & Lily operates in Atlanta, Chicago, Hamptons, Newport Beach, San Francisco, Summit and Westport, with an outlet in Berkeley.
