Warby Parker is clearly on a mission to help blurry-eyed Angelenos see better IRL. The stylish eyewear brand opened its sixth LA optical outpost last week at Americana at Brand, bringing its spring collection and more to Glendale.
Similar to its other boutiques, the space’s interiors are inspired by libraries and museums, with book displays complementing Warby Parker’s vintage-inspired and modern frames. In addition to the brand’s peeper-pleasing sunnies and optics, the shop stocks metal and acetate styles in a range of new colors (like Matte Navy, Hazelnut Crystal, and Lychee Crystal) alongside a limited-edition version of the Topper 16, designed with mirrored sky blue lenses and a clear frame exclusively for Glendale.
The four-eyes wonderland also features an original mural created by Art Center grad and LA artist Andrew Ho, who created a coastal scene inspired by midcentury Californian design. When it comes to checking out, Warby Parker’s eyewear experts can offer styling advice, assist with online order pickups, log your frame faves and measurements, and have your prescription specs delivered to your door using their special P.O.E. (or point-of-everything) system, while in-store opticians can make adjustments to your frames. Of course, non-prescription purchases can be taken home straight from the store.
