Lunar New Year is a time for feasting, and these eight Los Angeles restaurants are pulling out all the stops.

Paradise Dynasty

“Lunar New Year is one of the most meaningful times of the year for us at Paradise Dynasty,” said Desmond Boey, U.S. director of operations. “Each year, our chefs create a special menu rooted in tradition, symbolism, and the spirit of abundance, with dishes meant to be shared and enjoyed together as we welcome the year ahead.”

From February 2 through March 3, Paradise Dynasty at The Americana at Brand in Glendale is offering a limited-time Lunar New Year menu featuring banquet-style dishes at its Los Angeles and Orange County locations. Standouts include imperial chicken broth with wontons, typhoon shelter crispy garlic scallops, braised lobster with vermicelli slow-braised pork knuckle with dried scallop and matcha and black sesame sweet mochi.

The restaurant is also serving a Lunar New Year–exclusive cocktail called fire horse, a cognac-based twist on a Gold Rush made with D’USSÉ cognac, yuzu honey and green tea plum.
