LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 20, 2016) — Caruso Affiliated, one of the largest, privately held real estate development companies in the U.S., announced today its appointment of Corinne Verdery to executive vice president, development. Verdery will oversee all facets of Caruso Affiliated’s development process including acquisitions, entitlements, community relations, design and construction.

Corinne Verdery joins Caruso from NBCUniversal, where she served as chief real estate development officer for the Global Real Estate group. At NBCUniversal she oversaw the 25-year, $1.6 billion NBCUniversal Evolution Plan, which invests in entertainment production and tourism. As the senior vice president of Oasis West Realty, she oversaw real estate development and successfully led the master plan development for The Beverly Hilton and the Waldorf-Astoria in Beverly Hills. Verdery specializes in highly complex and high-profile projects that require fully integrated strategies throughout every aspect of the development process.

Verdery graduated cum laude from the USC School of Architecture and magna cum laude from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business. Verdery succeeds Matt Middlebrook, who recently moved to the role of executive vice president, strategic development and innovation, at the company.
