Award-winning retail, dining and lifestyle destination, The Grove, celebrated the festive season tonight with its highly anticipated holiday spectacular, “Christmas at The Grove.” Presented by CITI, the evening was hosted by Molly Sims and featured unforgettable performances by Andy Grammer, Daya, Lindsey Stirling, Rozzi, Parson James, Pia Toscano with David Foster, and JD McCrary.

Following opening remarks by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Councilman David Ryu, the show kicked off with a rousing performance of Winter Wonderland by JD McCrary. Amongst the show’s all-star acts included heart-warming renditions of holiday classics such as Rozzi Crane & Parson James’ Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, O Holy Night from Pia Toscana accompanied by David Foster on piano, You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch by Lindsey Stirling and Daya performing her chart-topping hit Don’t Let Me Down. Multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer rounded off the evening with an electrifying set featuring Keep Your Head Up.  Special guests at the show included Katherine McPhee, Sara Foster, Jennifer Meyer and Caruso Founder & CEO Rick J. Caruso.

Over 25,000 Angeleno’s gathered for the show-stopping finale which featured Santa Claus’ arrival at The Grove, spectacular fireworks, the season’s first snowfall, and – of course – the lighting of the over 100-foot-tall Christmas Tree. The majestic fir, which stands taller than the tree at Rockefeller Center, will glow with 15,000 sparkling lights and over 10,000 vibrant ornaments throughout the festive season.

Highlights from this year’s tree-lighting ceremony will be included in “A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS – THE 20th ANNIVERSARY,” a star-studded holiday special featuring uplifting stories of adoption from foster care enhanced by performances by major recording artists. The special will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 21 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. For the last two decades, the award-winning special has raised awareness of the hundreds of thousands of children in foster care and changed the lives of a generation of foster children.

Marking the start of the holidays, the event was co-sponsored by BMW. Caruso is proud to partner with Uber as official rideshare partner. Riders enjoyed a dedicated pickup and dropoff at the property’s Circle Valet off The Grove Drive.
