Experience New and Beloved Holiday Traditions Across Caruso’s Bespoke Retail Destinations for the Whole Family to Enjoy

Nov. 3, 2022 (LOS ANGELES) – Caruso invites guests to celebrate the holiday season with festive programming throughout November and December at its beloved shopping, dining and entertainment destinations. From the highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony at The Grove and Santa visits at The Americana at Brand, to strolling through the holiday market at Palisades Village, Caruso’s properties will be the one-stop shop for all things merry and bright.

“The holidays have officially arrived at Caruso and we are thrilled to welcome guests to join us in celebrating the season’s festivities,” says Julie Jauregui, Senior Vice President of Operations and Events. “We pride ourselves in bringing unique, enchanting experiences to our local communities including our famed nightly snowfalls, magnificent Christmas trees and spirited live entertainment that are sure to spark joy and spread holiday cheer.”

Tree Lighting Spectaculars

The Promenade at Westlake will host its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 18 at 7:30pm, featuring a whimsical holiday show in celebration of 25 wonderful years in Westlake Village. The family-friendly event will feature musical performances, fireworks, snow and a very merry welcome from Santa Claus. Guests are encouraged to come early at 5pm and enjoy strolling entertainment through the center, along with a curated Holiday Market with treats from nearby retailers and restaurants.

Proudly celebrating 20 spectacular years in the community, The Grove partners with CBS for its annual star-studded show: the “24th Annual A Home for the Holidays at The Grove,” on November 20 at 7pm. Hosted by Gloria Estefan, the show will feature uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raising awareness of this important social issue, enhanced with performances by incredible artists including Andy Grammer, Little Big Town, David Foster and Kat McPhee. The show will conclude with the lighting of its 100-foot-tall white fir Christmas tree to the backdrop of a dazzling firework show. The special, presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network, will be broadcast December 23 on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Santa’s Back in Town

Embrace the magic of the season and meet Santa himself! Santa visits and festive photo packages are available at The Americana at Brand’s Santa’s House and The Promenade at Westlake’s Santa’s Cottage starting on November 19, in addition to Santa’s Workshop at The Grove beginning November 21. Capture the experience with keepsake photos and memories through December 24. Reservations are highly encouraged; walk-ins are welcome, though wait times may vary.

The Americana at Brand will also host two seatings of its locally loved Santa Brunch at Trattoria Amici on December 3 at 9:30am and 11am, complete with delicious brunch favorites, festive goodie bags and exclusive vouchers to redeem for a photo with Santa. Guests must book a Santa House reservation in advance to redeem their voucher. New this year, Caruso Signature members will have early access to Santa Brunch reservations from November 10-14. Reservations will be open to the public the following day.

Holiday Strolls

The Commons at Calabasas introduces its first Holiday Stroll on December 3 from 4:30-8pm in commemoration of its 25th year in the community. A variety of holiday entertainment will saunter through the center while visitors savor holiday-inspired goodies and surprise and delights from the restaurants and shops. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also stop by for a magical story time and special photo opportunities.

Palisades Village brings back its Holiday Stroll on December 9 from 5-8pm and December 10 from 11am-8pm. Spirited music and merrymaking will spill onto Swarthmore Avenue creating a pedestrian-friendly town center, kicking off Friday evening with seasonal entertainment and two snowfall shows at 6pm & 7pm. Saturday will continue with property-wide festive engagements, exclusive in-store promotions, tasty treats, photo moments with Santa Claus and an exclusive champagne garden for Caruso Signature members.

Menorah Lighting Ceremonies

In partnership with the Chabad Jewish Community of Pacific Palisades, Palisades Village will once again close down Swarthmore for its Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 18 at 6pm. Celebrating the first of eight nights of Chanukah, the festivities will begin at 4pm and include musical entertainment and traditional light bites, followed by greetings from City officials and blessings from Rabbi Zuche.

Two days later, The Grove’s Menorah Lighting Ceremony takes place on December 20 at 6:30pm, partnering with Village Synagogue and Rabbi Fogelman. Musician and Spiritual Motivator Nissim Black will open the show at 5:50pm and close the event, followed by a gentle snowfall. Chanukah refreshments will be available after the show.

To round out Caruso’s holiday activities, The Commons at Calabasas will host its annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 21 at 6:30pm, in association with the Calabasas Shul, featuring pre-show musical entertainment, kid-friendly activities and complimentary refreshments beginning at 4:30pm.

Nightly Snow Flurries

A cherished community tradition, Caruso introduces Southern California snowfalls at The Americana at Brand beginning on November 18 and The Grove on November 25. Both properties will transform into winter wonderlands with snowfalls every night at 7pm and 8pm through Christmas Day.
