Celebrate the Season at Caruso’s Bespoke Retail Destinations with Delightful Holiday Programming for the Whole Family
Nov. 1, 2023 (LOS ANGELES) – Now through December, Caruso invites guests to its beloved shopping, dining and entertainment destinations to experience the quintessential Los Angeles holiday season. From the highly anticipated tree lighting celebrations at The Grove and The Promenade at Westlake, to meaningful Menorah lightings ceremonies at Palisades Village and The Commons at Calabasas, Caruso’s festive programming flawlessly ushers in the most wonderful time of the year in classic Southern California fashion. Plus, don’t miss the chance to meet Santa himself!
This year’s programming is made more significant as Caruso honors two special milestones in its portfolio – the 25th anniversary of The Commons at Calabasas and the 15th anniversary of The Americana at Brand. Grateful to the communities that have become family, Caruso looks forward to continuing traditions and bringing cheerful, captivating moments that spark merriment and spread joy to all.

Tree Lighting Spectaculars
The 22nd annual “Christmas at The Grove” Tree Lighting Celebration returns on November 13 at 7pm, featuring a star-studded show of musical performances by David Foster, Katharine McPhee and other special guests. Presented in partnership with Fisker, Afterpay and Hallmark Channel, the celebration will conclude with the lighting of a 100-foot-tall white fir Christmas tree, set against the backdrop of a wintery snowfall and sparkling firework show. The festive show will also be available to watch live from the comfort of your home through streaming service VEEPS.
The Promenade at Westlake will host its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 17 at 7pm, featuring a whimsical holiday show and family-friendly event, complete with musical performances, snow, fireworks and a very merry welcome from Santa Claus. Guests are encouraged to come early at 5pm and enjoy strolling entertainment through the center, along with a curated Holiday Market with treats and in-store specials from nearby retailers and restaurants like Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, World Market, Sweetfin, Shake Shack and more.
Santa’s Back in Town
Arriving from the North Pole, Santa returns to spread merriment and the magic of the season with Caruso guests. Meet Santa himself during a visit to Santa’s House at The Americana at Brand beginning November 17; at Santa’s Cottage at The Promenade at Westlake on November 18; and at Santa’s Workshop at The Grove beginning November 20. Capture the experience with keepsake photo packages and memories through December 24. Reservations are open November 6 and advance bookings are highly encouraged; walk-in reservations are subject to availability.
Caruso Signature loyalty members will receive priority access to Santa reservations from November 1-5. Caruso also celebrates its members with 15% off photo packages and a dedicated Caruso Signature reservation day on November 22, across all three properties through the app.
Holiday Strolls
Palisades Village brings back its annual Holiday Stroll on December 2 from 11am-7pm. Spirited music and merrymaking will spill onto Swarthmore Avenue creating a pedestrian-friendly town center with live holiday performances, gentle snowfalls, photo moments with Santa Claus and more throughout property. Guests can enjoy in-store promotions and tasty treats as well from some of Palisades Village’s favorite retailers and restaurants. Caruso Signature members will also receive access to an exclusive Champagne Chalet.
Menorah Lighting Ceremonies
In partnership with the Chabad Jewish Community Center of Pacific Palisades, Palisades Village will once again host its Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 7 at 6pm. Celebrating the first of eight nights of Chanukah, the festivities will begin at 4:30pm and include family-friendly activities, musical entertainment and traditional refreshments, followed by greetings from City officials and blessings from Rabbi Zuche.
The Commons at Calabasas will host its annual Menorah Lighting Celebration on December 12 at 6:30pm, providing a magical and safe joining place for community members to gather and celebrate the significant holiday. The evening will consist of live musical entertainment, family-friendly activities, Chanukah treats and the lighting of the menorah, concluding with a dazzling firework show.
In addition to the two scheduled Menorah Lighting Ceremonies at Caruso properties, Palisades Village, The Grove and The Commons at Calabasas will host a nightly lighting of the menorah from December 7 to December 15.
Nightly Snow Flurries
A cherished community tradition, Caruso introduces Southern California snowfalls at The Americana at Brand from November 16 through Christmas Day and The Grove beginning on November 25 through the end of the year. Both properties will transform into winter wonderlands with snowfalls every night at 7pm and 8pm.
