(Los Angeles, December 18, 2025) – Family-owned Certified B Corp and Certified Organic Retailer Erewhon will return to Caruso’s Palisades Village as the anchor grocer, Café and Tonic Bar. Reconstruction is already underway, including an entirely new store build-out and an extended version of the original patio space. The announcement marks a significant milestone in the recovery of the Pacific Palisades and signals renewed investment in restoring essential neighborhood services and supporting the community’s long-term economic health.

“We’re honored to join the incredible effort underway at Palisades Village,” said Tony Antoci, Erewhon CEO and Co-founder. “Our team believes deeply in showing up for our communities, and reopening is a meaningful way for us to contribute to the healing and renewal of this neighborhood.”

The grocer is known for its strict quality standards, sustainable practices, 100% organic produce, and commitment to the community. Reopening will bring fresh food, prepared meals, and everyday convenience to families who have long relied on Palisades Village as part of their daily routine. When it opens, Erewhon will be the only major grocer available in the heart of the neighborhood.

“Bringing Erewhon back to Palisades Village is a major step forward for the entire community,” said Jackie Levy, Caruso Chief Financial and Revenue Officer. “We are committed to rebuilding not just the property, but the spirit and long-term health of the Palisades community we’re proud to serve.”

The new Erewhon will be fully rebuilt to deliver the latest iteration of the grocer’s shopping and dining experience. The reinvented space will include an expanded outdoor patio to foster a welcoming environment for neighbors to enjoy outdoor dining, seasonal events, and everyday community connection.

Erewhon will also open in West Hollywood in February 2026, Glendale in May 2026, and Caruso’s The Lakes at Thousand Oaks in July 2026.

Palisades Village will reopen in August 2026. For updates, please visit Palisadesvillageca.com or @palisadesvillage on Instagram.

ABOUT PALISADES VILLAGE

Caruso’s Palisades Village is a bespoke walkable village home to over 40 uniquely curated boutiques, entertainment and fresh food experiences. Since its opening in fall 2018, the property has brought to Pacific Palisades a collection of specialty retailers ranging from first to brick-and-mortar ventures that are unique to the community to sought-after fashion labels, as well as tenants who have found a home for their first West Coast outpost. Shaped over the past several years in close dialogue with the residents of the community, the 125,000 square-foot development was uniquely designed to seamlessly blend into the surrounding neighborhood, giving the look of a local town center that grew organically and matured over time. True to Caruso’s commitment to offering unparalleled guest experiences, Palisades Village is home to an extensive selection of dining venues, the highly anticipated restoration of the historic Bay Theater, a specialty grocer, concierge service, a community room and a beautifully landscaped green space. The first business district in California to be certified LEED Gold by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for outstanding innovation and leadership for environmental sustainability, Palisades Village is a truly one-of-a-kind destination.
